Kelly and Rachel wanted their wedding day to have special meaning to them and their families. They are both from Edmonton, AB and drove all the way to her grandma’s farm located very close to Greenwater Lake, SK. The long drive was well worth it for them to get married at Rachel’s grandma’s farm. This is a very special place as Rachel has many fond childhood memories at the farm. It was important to them that we tied in photo locations that had personal meaning to them. Either where Rachel used to play or where she would spend time with her grandpa. Many parts of their wedding day included items from people they loved that had passed away. The tobacco tins that were part of the centre pieces were from Rachel’s grandpa. One of the sweetest moments of their wedding day was when Rachel’s boys walked their Mom down the aisle to give her away. My personal favourite part of the day was listening to them recite their vows to one another.

Kelly, It took you two years to even take me on a date and in all honesty I thought I would have to wait another ten years for this day to come…BUT
I would have waited my entire life to marry you.
You are my strength when I am weak, my light in the dark and my rock when I am in doubt. Your love is patient, kind and always without judgement. You have stood by my side through all life has tossed our way and never faltered.
Not only are you an amazing father and an inspiration to our boys you inspire me to be a better person everyday.
Today and Always I promise to love and cherish you even when I am extra fiery.
I promise to always help you find the things that are right in front of your face.
I promise to never take you for granted and always make time to show you how much I love you.
I promise to remind you of how lucky you are to have met me and too never forget how lucky I am to call you my husband and partner.
Most of all I promise you that I will stand beside you in the good times and more importantly the bad times.
Although our love may not be perfect it is the perfect love for me. I look forward to all the years ahead and watching you get older than me.
Today I give you my whole heart for my whole life.
