HOLY MOLY! I don’t even know where to start. This wedding day was so special. This was Sara and Adam’s first time in Fernie. They flew in from Vancouver to get married at the Elk View Lodge in Fernie.Β Their wedding day came together perfectly with a little pixie dust from Lush Kootenay. I love being a part of weddings where family are the only ones present. There is something so special about being part of a gathering this intimate. I’m able to catch so many special little moments between family members. The hugs, the tears, the kind loving words. It’s pretty incredible.
Sara and Adam went on a little hike with me after their ceremony. I told them I had a couple spots in mind and without hesitation they followed me, ducking under trees and balancing precariously on rocks until we reached a beautiful waterfall. IT was SO worth the trek! If you’re on the fence about doing a hike on your wedding day, this is proof that it is so worth it and you should go for it!
